We are looking for an experienced sales engineer to support our operations in New England. The right candidate will have experience in the media industry working with access centers, schools and governmental agencies. To be a good sales engineer you will need a strong technical background, sound judgement and good business sense. Experience in the public access sector is a definite plus. The sales engineer will be familiar with all technical aspects and issues of the product or service. This ensures a high level of customer satisfaction, as a sales engineer will be prepared for any / all technical issues that may come about. This is a position for someone with both technical knowledge and sales skills. Being a self starter and able to work independently is a requirement.

Duties of the Sales Engineer: Supporting members of the team, specifically with research and outreach to potential customers. Preparing technical proposals and tenders for clients. Preparing quotes for customers and costing up requirements to deliver the order ensuring profitability. This involves translating and explaining highly complex technical information to customers and clients and focusing on revealing how a product or piece of equipment can solve specific problems. This position involves local travel and will interface directly with the engineering department and senior management.
