Irrigation & Landscape Lighting Manager
Summary: Responsible for all water management and lighting operational functions at the site including customer service, sales and maintenance of products by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages in the installation of numerous irrigation systems. Manages the installation of landscape lighting systems and seasonal lighting displays.
Services and maintains irrigation systems.
Interacts directly with property owners, distributors of products, crew members, site management staff and business management staff.
Performs numerous tasks in a great variety of site locations.
Manages the use of the irrigation systems in the most efficient manner.
Audits irrigation system to measure the uniformly of water application.
Maintains inventory
Manages a team of technicians
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
Good working knowledge of irrigation systems
Work load runs from one large job at a time to several smaller jobs
Good people skills are a strong plus
