Growing financial education company in Wixom needs a full-time customer service representative.

We are a small company that has been in business since 2001, but we have thousands of clients all over the world.

This position would mainly be a customer service position, but you must be flexible and have a "whatever it takes" attitude.

Main job duties include:

Answering a multi-line phone system.

Answering the phones will be the majority of your day. We teach novice traders how to trade the markets. You do not need to have stock trading experience, but you do need to have patience and the ability to assist our customers in a kind, compassionate way. Our customers are new to trading and primarily over 60 years in age.

This means helping them work through basic computer skills such as composing an email to us. If you don't have a sweet spot for seniors or the ability to remain helpful and kind while dealing with customers that are new and need extra help, sorry this position is not for you.

Answering email-based help desk ticket questions

Resolving shipping, billing disputes

Processing orders

Providing assistance to management and sales staff as needed

Abilities required:

Self-starter, ability to work alone and without direction

Pleasant, professional speaking voice

Good typing skills and familiarity with web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Ability to sit at the computer all day and be productive

Excellent writing skills, good grammar, etc.

Our business is based mainly on the internet, so we never interact with our customers in person. If you need face-to-face

customer interaction, this job is not for you.
