You will work with the PI to implement research projects, with key responsibilities including: managing project staff, monitoring and reporting project expenditures, implementing project management plans, and coordinating recruitment and retention strategies. The successful applicant will oversee the day-to-day management of project staff.Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute the research project/clinical trials. Develop project timelines and schedules.

Supervision of project staff, including, scheduling work, assigning priorities, and provide training for staff.

Oversee participant recruitment activities and maintain participant-tracking systems. Ensure that all human subject protections are in place.

Define and coordinate project resource needs. Prepare financial analysis and projections as needed for the PI. Reconcile expenditures and monitor budget.

Coordination of compliance requirements including IRB applications and sponsor required reports. Create and maintain documentation required by the project and sponsors.

Assist PI in development of grant proposals and manuscripts, including proposals for new and/or continued research activities.

A Master's degree in health sciences or a related field (e.g., public health, sociology, social work).

Three (3) to five (5) years of quality management/leadership experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

A minimum of five (5) years' experience of progressively responsible project management support on funded research projects.

Previous supervisory experience and financial grants management experience is necessary.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to receive and convey information clearly and concisely for various mediums. You will be expected to have solid interpersonal and organizational skill, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

Demonstrated proficiency at the intermediate level with Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proven analytical skills and follow-through; ahigh degree of creativity, initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to anticipate needs.

Must have excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

Must be able to work independently as well as effectively on teams.

Currently, this position has the option to be remote and will be reviewed annually per the university and School of Nursing policy.Hours: 20 hours per weekSalary Range: The salary for this position is up to a maximum of $39,000 per year (based on a full-time salary rate of $78,000) due to salary funded on grants. The actual salary determined is commensurate with the qualifications, experience of the selected candidate.
