PDS Tech, Inc is seeking a Drivability Calibration Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI.Skills / Duties and Responsibilities:Calibration of engine control (EFI) for North America and global markets
Complete engine calibration in accordance with procedures to meet regulations and other performance targets (power/performance, shock/response, S&S, startability, hesitation, etc)
Prepare and manage calibration and resource schedule to meet development deadlines
Test preparation, data collection, data analysis, and technical report creation on a regular basis
Build successful relationship with calibration technician group
Conduct vehicle testing and development under extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, high altitude)
Complete required internal training necessary for job execution (Technical, Driving, etc.)
Required minimum education and experience:A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in drivability calibration related to engine control (power/performance, shock/response, S&S, startability, hesitation, etc)
Proficiency in engine control logic interrogation and debugging
Experience investigating technical issues and creating effective technical solutions
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent driving record
Nice to have:Advanced engineering degree
Thorough understanding of internal combustion engine theory/practice
Experience with AVL Drive
Experience with Model-Based Design and calibration processes
