As an Engineering Lead, you will work with an expansive network of global technology partners, making it possible to reach travelers across the globe and at every stage of their journey. The right candidates for this position are self-motivated problem solvers who can lead teams to execute technical projects from design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring. The Lead Senior Software Engineer can be a remote role or you are welcome to work out of the following offices: Ann Arbor, MI, Austin and Fort Worth, Texas and New York. Duties:
Provide leadership and guidance to our software engineers in the development of their careers
Be a hands-on leader, working with the team to create organized, clean, and maintainable code
Collaborate with product and apply the principles of the Agile methodology in developing and executing the product roadmap
Own product features from concept to deployment
Be an integral player in creating software best practices that incorporate new architectures
Participate in lively technology discussions where your opinion is truly valued
Be a great mentor to engineers across the organization
REQUIREMENTS:
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with at least 8 years working experience on an enterprise-level application
Coding fundamentals with experience in C, C, Golang, or Java, or language agnostic; Golang is not required
You have experience building and managing effective teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
You have broad experience working with software architecture and design
You adapt well to working with emerging technologies
You have a strong technical base and innovative mindset
You thrive in ever-changing environments
You communicate well with coworkers of all levels
