THE JOB:
Full-time dedicated manager with a primary focus on mobile job sites (including catering gigs, food cart events, sports arenas, etc.) who puts in hours at our brick-and-mortar restaurant as needed to keep their total working hours at a full-time level. For the right person we would also be willing to consider a seasonal / hourly / part-time package. Duties include packing, loading, setting up, serving, & breaking down mobile sites; handling cash & managing hourly staff; keeping our equipment, vehicles & storage spaces clean & tidy; working restaurant shifts which may include opening, serving and / or closing; executing weekly food pickup runs & other mobile manager functions.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
(1) Valid driver's license with a "decent" driving record. NO OWI's, DUI's, hit & run, etc.
(2) Availability Fri thru Sun for mobile events throughout the duration of peak season (April thru October)
(3) Energy, enthusiasm, positive attitude, self-motivation, good work ethic, reliability & integrity!
(4) A good eye for detail
(5) Ability to lift & carry 50 lbs up a flight of stairs.
THE PAY:
Depending on your attutide / experience / qualifications / availability, and depending on what you want for yourself, we are flexible about how we structure the compensation. Ideally we are looking for someone to work full time & go on salary. For someone who wants more free time we would consider an hourly package. Both options come with an open door to earn perks & benefits including health insurance w/ employer contribution, free meals, paid sick time, & seasonal bonuses. The precise hourly / salaried rate will depend on what you bring to the table. YOU KEEP THE TIPS YOU EARN! Over the course of a mobile season, the tips can add up to thousands of dollars.
THE TRAINING:
We do NOT train on salary. All of our new staff start out on a hourly training wage (up to $10 / hour) with a probationary period & management reviews. Manager training is intensive (30 - 40 hours per week) with the idea of moving it along quickly.
