Direct Support Professionals are responsible for bathing, toileting, and changing briefs for the adult residents. As well as, cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry at their home. Properly completing paperwork and medical documentation, taking the residents to medical appointments, passing medications, and engaging and interacting with the residents are further expectations of the job. Don't worry though, ALL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.
