Nifty Hoops is our region's leading hoophouse manufacturer and builder. We build these greenhouse structures on farms throughout the Great Lakes region. Farmers and gardeners use hoophouses to protect their crops from wind, rain and cold.
As a crew member you will have the opportunity to work hard, travel, and learn every step of the building process. If you learn quickly and show yourself as a leader, you can become a Crew Leader and earn more.

Job Summary:
This is a construction job with technical aspects that must be mastered to be successful. You will be operating battery-powered drills, impact drivers, laser-leveling tools, gas powered post-drivers, and climbing ladders. This position requires overnight travel while being on the road for up to 4 nights every other week. Weeks that are not spent on the road can involve early departures to reach a build site. It is hard but rewarding work.
Beginning workers start by learning each step of the building process. If you emerge as a leader, we will soon be asking you to take on more responsibility on job sites and your compensation will reflect this.
