6 Stall Barn has immediate openings to cover Monday through Saturday, 7:30am to 1:30pm. Preferably, 2 people to cover M-W & Th-Sat or 1 to cover all 6 days. But, we'll do our best to work around schedules. Must have experience handling large sport horses, stall cleaning, feeding, general barn chores. Must be very reliable, have dependable transportation and references. To be considered, e-mail your contact phone # and related experience in your first email.
- Pay based on experience and productivity. Minimum $12/hr. Paid weekly.
- Only those considered for the position will be contacted to set up an interview. Do NOT call or visit the farm.
Typical tasks:
Pass Hay and feed grain meals to all horses.
Blanketing, apply leg wraps / boots. Turnout to paddocks.
Thoroughly Pick Stalls, re-bed, Clean water / feed Pots
Prepare grain meals according to an Individual Menu
General cleaning...Tack room, Grain Room..etc.
Bring in horses from turnout.
Pass hay, Feed lunch, re-pick manure from stalls.
Other assigned tasks.
