Seeking a variety of personnel to follow and apply the best standards to build parts in order to ensure safety, quality and productivity. The position requires to take part and improve effectiveness using Lean Manufacturing methods to ensure product quality and 100% customer delivery.
Critical Job Demands:
Follow standard work: role of the operator is to follow and apply the best standards to build part in order to ensure safety, quality and productivity;
Take part and improve effectiveness using Lean Manufacturing methods;
Install and maintain 5S standards;
Ensure the HSE of all personnel working in the areas including visitors; Ensure adherence to health and HSE requirements and procedures;
Carry out Process to correct Quality and Production Standards within cycle time; Ensure Product Quality.
Ensure 100% delivery to customer;
Escalate issues to Team Leader/ Shift Leader as necessary;
Work flexibly in order to meet customer demands and needs; Work shifts and overtime as necessary;
Maintain equipment in an excellent working condition;
Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy; Follow requirements established in the Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions;
Participate in SMED, tool change on the line if required;
Ensure GAP members Conform to relevant EMS requirements;
Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Ambe’s Code of Conduct Standards;
Attend Daily Shift Meeting;
Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company;
Ability read, write, comprehend and follow instructions; Proficient level of English;
Engage dexterity/Repetitive hand/arm movements; Adhere to all Safety Procedures;
Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. approximately 30ft; and
Ability to spend a lot of time (approx. 8-10 hours/day) walking/standing/squatting/bending while operating machinery; Must have normal range of vision
Position is a manufacturing/production setting; climate may change from cold to hot; and noisy; Must wear personal protective equipment in production areas such as, safety goggles, and safety shoes, etc.; Position is considered temporary (no guaranteed number of work hours per week;
