Main purpose of job:
Perform general administrative duties, monitor shipments/deliveries, and provide support to the CEO as required in an international trading company.
Duties include:
-Communicating with clients and vendors via emails in courteous, professional manner
-Accepting purchase orders from clients and placing purchase orders with vendors
-Tracking inbound/outbound shipments for customers
-Coordinating with various intermediaries regarding deliveries/inventories
-Generating sales reports using excel
-Writing and dispatching routine or straightforward letters
-Light, occasional cleaning of the office (e.g., vacuuming, plant watering)
Required Qualifications and Skills:
-Bachelor's degree required
-Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
-Professional, courteous manner
-Ability to communicate clearly
-Writing and grammatical competency
-Patience working with data sets; precision and comfort with numbers
-Open to feedback
-Enjoys team environment in an open office layout
Additional Desired Characteristics:
-Familiarity with QuickBooks
-Graphic Design skill
