Role Summary:
The client's Connected and Mobility Services Fleet Product Manager’s primary role is to lead the Connected Services Fleet Product identification, implementation and growth lifecycle. The Fleet Product enables Fleet Customers, like large rental car operators, to access real time data from their vehicles; via the Car-Net ecosystem to add value to their operations and consumers. The Fleet Product Manager is the subject-matter expert for the assigned Product vertical. The Fleet Product Manager is responsible for facilitating disparate work groups within client and external partners to successfully launch new telematics related products.

This role requires a strong blend of understanding the touchpoints that make up the business, operational and technical ecosystem of clients connected cars, and the ability to translate this knowledge into new or enhanced product offerings that will drive the business towards continuous improvement.

• Deep understanding of the downstream effects from onboarding new telematics products
• Proven ability to develop business dashboards
• Expertise in supporting lean organizations
• Expertise in communicating complex information in an easily consumable format
• Familiarity documenting in Confluence
• Ability to define and document processes from basic concepts to full implementation of end to end processes
• The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to operations; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and operations strategy, business processes and work flow automation, resulting in benefit realization and service delivery
• The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the product offering
• The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies and make recommendations on creating efficiencies and identify synergies across the teams.
• The ability to work closely with key stakeholders to understand needs and identify opportunities while providing guidance on best-practice process improvement and/or process solutions
• Establish the appropriate metrics and methodology to review and identify potential areas for product improvement
• Apply product improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to assess product improvement opportunities and provide cost benefit analysis
• Leveraging facilitation techniques, ability to lead non-aligned groups to alignment and win/win scenarios, developing end to end product roadmaps, swim lane diagrams and ability to define and write step by step procedures and process documentation
• Ability to hold stakeholders and external resources accountable for timely provision of information needed to formalize product offering and move through product lifecycle
• Ability to create templates to standardize product launch checklists that are time based

Required Skills:
• Contract Negotiations, Process Flow Diagramming, System Integration, Confluence, proficient in MS Office Suite, Exemplary Written and Oral Communication, Cost Analysis, Expert analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking, Problem-solving evangelist.

Desired Skills:
• Experience with Automotive Industry – Connected Vehicle Integration: Telematics, Telecommunications, Probe Data, Data Monetization, Mobility Services, Connected Fleet and Fleet Sales

Role Responsibilities:
• Research and inform team members of topical information in the product vertical
• Build business models to support the product offering and seek sign off
• Lead the Product team and Procurement resources to create product requirements, pricing and business model
• Lead contract negotiations with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with the Connected Services Business Process Specialist, Technical Business Analyst and Project manager to define business requirements, financial modeling, operational support processes and construct timelines.
• Create Internal Stakeholder Org Chart
• Identify Stakeholders impacted and facilitate stakeholder communication
• Develop and execute Product Implementation Plans
• Develop, maintain and enhance the Product Catalog
• Define and Document Billing Test Scenario
• Review offerings for conflict with existing Agreements
• Review offerings in the context of current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Assess impact to all Selling Channels
• Assess impact to revenue plan for each channel
• Develop individual work plans and preparation for execution of offering
• Develop call center scripts and assist in call center training / support
• Triage and troubleshoot product issues involving internal and external resources / stakeholders
• Work will be performed in sufficient detail that everything is ready to be launched in Production in a known amount of time and all resources are identified for execution

Experience:
• 5-7 years of Technical Business Partnership Development (e.g. Identifying and Contracting Business Partners, Leading New Product Integration Lifecycle, Capturing Business Rules, Leading External Contract and Internal Technical Alignment Negotiations).

Education:
Required - Under Graduate Degree
Desired - MBA or business competency
