Job Title: SAP Production Planning Functional Analyst

Description:
•Responsible for analyze the daily activities associated with the material planning team including vendor communication, warehouse coordination, customer and customer service requests, and cross-functional support for supply chain related activities and reporting.
•Daily ordering process execution and problem solving
•Management of supply chain from the supplier to the customer
•Utilize SAP to run Material Requirements Planning
•Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products.
•Creates and maintains forecast modules for customers and product lines, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance and historical demand.
•Creates statistical forecasts. Gathers, analyzes, and validates data, executes statistical modeling software, reviews statistical forecast models, and applies error analysis techniques to improve forecasting.
•Independently prepares and communicates forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).
•Collaborating with other internal departments to launch new part numbers as well as resource part numbers
•Provide inventory status updates to customer service and sales team upon request
Preferred:
•Bachelors Degree in Logistics Management
•3+ years material planning experience or related areas
•3+ years in Logistics
•Knowledge in SAP, SIOP Processes and Advanced Excel Skills

Performs sampled reviews of investigated incidents by Tier 1/Tier 2 Analysts to improve ticket quality and provides feedback to coach junior Analysts. Documentation and Support Participates in the development / enhancement of process and technologies impacting the SOC and the broader Cyber Defense Operations function. Collaborates closely with the SOC Manager to develop recommendations and/or technical implementations to improve workflows within the SOC, including the use of automation and optimization of processes. Collaborates with other Engineering and Operations teams within Comerica to troubleshoot, respond, and improve detection capabilities.
