Help Wanted - Woodworker Part Time

We are a leading high-end mission style lighting craftsman located in Battle Creek, Michigan.
We custom build and do small production runs of high-end and luxury lamps and lighting throughout the USA Canada UK and Australia.
We are currently looking for an individual with experience in woodworking who has a high attention to detail to work in our manufacturing department.
The lamps and their components that we manufacture are custom, meaning every job is different, every job offers new challenges and requires the individual to think about what they are doing.
We take pride in each and every job and as such we are known for producing high quality work and expect the same from all employees.
Opening for FLEXIBLE part-time first shift, 1st Shift hours are 8 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday. The Part-Time work Hrs. will be specified during the interview, they will fall between 7am and 3:30pm
Required Education:
High School or Equivalent
Required Experience:
1 - 2 years woodworking experience preferred
Experience with all basic woodworking equipment such as table saw, planer, joiner, wide belt sander, routers etc.
Ability to speak and read English
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow instructions in written, oral and diagram form.
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills
Must have reliable transport and Drivers License
Salary:
Based on skills and experience
Hours: Mon to Fri 8am - 3:30pm.
This is a part-time day shift position in a clean, smoke free environment.
