This team is also responsible for future roadmaps of all connected products for Internal Combustion, Autonomous and Electric vehicles as well as foundational products to enable compelling customer experiences across i) Retail, ii) Commercial, iii) 3rd Party Enablement and iv) Internal Value business units of Enterprise Connectivity.What you’ll be able to do:Lead overall Quality performance of In-Vehicle Infotainment modules in production (SYNC/APIM, Center Display Module, Audio Head Unit/Radio, Audio DSP modules/Amplifier, Speakers)

Lead Warranty Spend Cost Reduction and Supplier Recovery projects

Work with Ford Component Sales / Dealership Technicians / Field Service Engineers to address field concerns

Review Service Manuals and Diagnostic tools to improve the vehicle service experience

Lead IVS/GIVIS reviews to address software release concerns that impact vehicle service/repair

Release Dealer Service Bulletins (SSMs/TSBs) to address vehicle repair issues

Work collaboratively with extended Electrical team and other Multi-functional teams to address system issues

Work with Supplier and STA to ensure warranty part analysis and corrective actions are detailed and complete

Apply QNPS Customer Survey response data to insure the voice of customer is being used to drive design and quality actions

Support Customer Clinics to achieve clarity on voice of customer feedback

Support PVTs to bring any production issues to quick resolutions, and address vehicle line concerns

Support and present at various Quality reviews (FQR/VQR/PDQR/NAQM/FSQR) supporting V80 Quality initiatives

Apply analytics and other early detection tools to get ahead of the Warranty/QNPS data.

The minimum requirements we seek:3+ years of experience as an Infotainment Product and/or Quality Engineer

High School Diploma or GED

Our preferred requirements:Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering

Experience working on electronic/infotainment/audio products

Understanding of electronics and vehicle networked systems

Ability to solve vehicle, system, and component issues. Apply is/is not, fishbone diagram, 8-D, etc.

Proven understanding of Ford Quality tracking resources (AWS/GSAR, Datacubes, BSAQ, ECB, GCQIS, QNPS, etc.)

Working Knowledge of Ford WERS release system (Concerns, Notices, Alerts, etc.)

Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work well in a multi-functional setting

Continuous improvement mentality
