The OpportunityAlly Financial Inc. manages a full range of aftermarket vehicle protection products available to consumers, including vehicle service contracts, GAP waivers, prepaid maintenance, and our Everyday Protection Products. The team identifies market needs through strong collaboration with our matrix partners as well as a full understanding of the competitive automotive marketplace.The Product Analyst will report to the Product Manager, supporting the development of new finance & insurance (F&I) products and updating existing F&I products sold through various dealer networks. This position will require collaboration with matrix partners throughout the organization, including Sales, Pricing/Actuarial, IT Systems Sustain, Configuration, Operations, Legal / Regulatory and Project Management.

The Work ItselfChampion organizational change management through collaborative efforts with matrix partners to identify new F&I product opportunities and to strengthen existing product positions in the market

Develop market analysis and competitive review through research and be able to summarize & present findings to management

Act as a Subject Matter Expert on all Vehicle Service Contracts and Vehicle Maintenance Products

Grow knowledge andbenchmark the industry, competition, and emerging trends

Evaluate and implement pilot opportunities to test and learn in the market

Support the enhancement of products, as well as the development and introduction of value-added new products

Support the creation of point-of-sale materials, internal/external communications

Support/collaborate with matrix partners to develop learning and development content, presentation materials, sales materials, and automotive dealer materials

Develop and execute tactical planning aligned to department strategy with supervision

Assist in defining, analyzing, and reporting out on key product metrics

Support corporate governance and reporting related to product introductions

Work collaboratively with other F&I Products team members, Legal and Regulatory to facilitate required contract / customer agreement changes to satisfy lender and/or state specific requirements

Identify innovation and business opportunities within the automotive F&I market

Complete special projects relating to products as needed

The Skills You BringAt least 1-3 years of automotive retail, F&I, insurance, or Ally experience

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or economics preferred

High energy, results oriented with a strong work ethic and high degree of self-motivation

Comfortable working in a highly collaborative team environment

Problem solving skills and communicating solutions

Fluency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook desired

Strong communication and presentation skills desired
