Position DescriptionThis position offers an ability to support the growing needs of the Auto CC&E group from a reporting and analytics standpoint. The role includes responsibilities involving analytics, data management, reporting, and process improvement. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of daily/weekly/monthly reporting, ad-hoc, and project-based work to insure the best customer experience. This position will regularly interact with business managers and executive level stakeholders and provide insight on key risk operating metrics.Job Responsibilities· Employing statistical techniques for analyzing data (e.g., regression analysis, decision trees, time series etc.)· Interface with various stakeholders within the Auto CC&E organization to provide timely and accurate analysis and information as needed to ensure alignment with strategic imperatives· Establishing and creating clear documentation and governance of all reports, to include the methodologies and models employed· Support a team focused on delivering daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to senior leadership and other matrix partners· Serve as a SME on all components of Auto CC&E related data sources (Salesforce, Alfa Data Systems, Data Warehouse, LiveEngage, etc.)· Support coordination with various internal teams to ensure accuracy of data and reporting at all times· Analyze and report actual results and variances to expectations· Identify issues/inconsistencies with Auto CC&E structures, processes, and systems and find a resolution by utilizing available resources (Enterprise Guide, SQL, Power BI, Excel, Access, etc.)· Participate in and support internal/external Audits and/or State Exams· Continuously pursue opportunities for process improvement in reporting or team best practices· Lead special projects and complete ad hoc requests as neededQualifications· Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field· Candidate should possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills· Minimum 3 years of practical experience working with large datasets with advance SQL knowledge· Proficient in Power BI and SAS programming (similar statistical tools) and MS Excel· Ability to organize and filter through large quantities of data, perform independent analysis, and provide themes, trends and explanations to management· Motivated/self-starter looking to make a difference· Ability to drive change and initiate/execute process improvementsAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verbal· Energetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiative and works with a sense of urgency· Strong communication and relationship building skills· Ability to communicate technical topics in an easy-to-understand manner· Well-organized and detail-oriented work ethicPreferred:· Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, decision sciences, mathematics, economics, operations research or similar)· Strong experience and knowledge of consumer financing industry (e.g. auto, card, mortgage etc.)· Proficient in developing analysis queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis softwareAlly OverviewAlly Financial Inc.
