Work with various local government agencies to manage the implementation or troubleshooting of application updates including the gathering of requirements, testing, training, and post implementation support. Acts as second and third level support for end users of a suite of business applications including vendor and customer developed software. Once trained on existing applications, will provide business and technical expertise when modifications and/or enhancements to data or applications are requested. Conducts business process analyses and needs assessments to align information technology solutions with the business initiatives. Prepares functional, system and programming specifications and test plans, cases, and data. Participates in application testing and acceptance to ensure business community’s needs are met. Must have experience writing business requirements and developing test cases. Ideal candidate is a self-starter who can support applications, lead requirements gathering sessions and produce quality work with minimal oversight. Strong interpersonal communication and data analysis skills are a must. Must be willing and able to work remotely. Approximately 60% will be application support and 40% will be project work.
