Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K series
  • Ability to collaborate with others to identify risks and find solutions to meet business needs
  • Experience installing firewalls and building new DMZ networks
  • Extensive knowledge of routing protocols (BGP and OSPF), switching, VLAN Trunking Protocol, network segmentation, leaf and spine topology and NX-OS
  • Knowledge building secure solutions that are scalable and do not impact the client experience
  • Experience with IPsec VPN and SSL VPN remote access

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Arista networks
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the next generation Palo Alto Firewall migration
  • Experience with Application Delivery Controller (ADC) such as F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager (GTM), VMware NSX (Avi) Load Balancer
  • Experience with Application Switching and Traffic Management, Global Server Load Balancing, SSL offload, SSL Certificate/Key, Web Acceleration and TCP optimization
  • Experience with Authoritative External DNS: F5 BIG-IP GTM , NS1, Avi Traffic Manager
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management platforms
  • Knowledge of F5 advanced feature modules including Application Firewall Module, Application Security Module and Application Policy Module
  • Knowledge of F5 iRules, iControl API and application integration, RestAPI automation

Job Summary
As a Network engineer, your primary focus will be on the design and implementation of enterprise Load Balancing solutions, SSL Certificate Management and Authoritative DNS Services.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business requirements and make recommendations for implementation
  • Assess new technology and network processes
  • Develop planning and implementation documentation
  • Lead technology implementation/integration and oversee projects
  • Implement performance-monitoring tools
  • Develop test plans, network architecture and designs to meet business needs
  • Upgrade firewalls and switches based on business needs
