The Opportunity



  • We are looking for an experienced Analyst with project planning, delivery and requirements gathering for Client Auto's Data Solutions Support (DSS) team. Candidate should be Agile or PMP certified or working towards certification, and preferably has a background in data management technologies, business intelligence, and experience in financial services. This role is expected to drive improvements within DSS processes and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholder customers.

Required:



  • 1-3 years of experience working as a project or program manager or working on a team assisting with team projects
  • 1-3 years leading and administering projects using a tool such as Jira, or similar project management system (e.g. VersionOne, Teamwork, Confluence, etc.)
  • Background in project management and process improvement
  • Experience with gathering requirements and writing user stories
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PPT, Visio)
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, manage change and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:



  • Agile, Scrum, or PMP training or certification (e.g. CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.) from accredited institution or Client
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or similar field
  • Additional project management, Agile, PMP or Lean Six Sigma certifications from accredited institution (e.g. PMI or ASQ)
  • Work experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in the consumer auto finance sector
  • Understanding of basic data warehousing principals and concepts, and technical knowledge related to Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or IT

responsibilities:


  • Utilize Agile, Waterfall or similar methodologies to manage workload and projects for multiple teams
  • Conduct Kanban/Scrum ceremonies (ceremonies and methodology is tailored to the applicable team/squad)
  • Coach teams and recommend methodology changes to increase work output and results.
  • Lead estimating and prioritization activities for new data management and reporting requests
  • Develop, administer, and manage Jira boards, workflows, and issues
  • Motivate a team to self-organize while fostering collaborative team environments
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions to capture detailed requirements and write user stories to assist business partners
  • Effectively cultivate productive and engaging relationships and communication with DSS teams and stakeholders
  • Lead with a "customer first" attitude
  • Demonstrate a passion for driving process improvements that empower teams to be more efficient
  • Continuously innovate, problem solve, and provide solutions for challenges
  • Track and report progress, risks, and issues
  • Engage in and fully support Client's LEAD Core Values, a culture of Diversity and Inclusion, and employee engagement
