Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport8000 Merriman RoadRomulus, MI 48174This beautiful newly renovated, 11-story Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport Hotel is conveniently located within minutes of the Detroit Metro Airport and just 15 minutes from the revitalized downtown Detroit. The hotel has 359 rooms, approximately 14,000 sq. feet of function space, a restaurant/lounge, indoor heated pool, a hot tub and a state-of-the-art Sheraton Fitness Center.We are currently looking for a part-time Security Officer working Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00pm-11:00pm to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of guests and associates, their property, and the property of the Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport Hotel. This includes supporting other department's activities to help assure the highest levels of guest and employee service.Securing the hotel by patrolling and inspecting the property, monitoring surveillance equipment and access points.
Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
informing violators of the hotel's policies and procedures; restraining trespassers.
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses and obtaining signatures.
Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00pm-11:00pm.
Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Some college preferred.
Prior security experience preferred.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends.
