Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in a field related to computer science or information technology or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in workstation or server administration
  • 1 year of experience in systems engineering

Preferred Qualifications ?
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years managing Windows Server Environment
  • SCCM (MEM) Experience
  • VDI Experience
  • AD Multi-site environment experience
  • 2 years of Active Directory Enterprise environment experience
  • 2 years of Microsoft Clustering Enterprise environment experience
  • Third-level customer service support experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Quickly analyze and resolve issues with the ability to adapt and execute quickly to meet our clients? needs in a rapidly changing business environment

Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer, you will be working with a team of highly skilled and dedicated systems engineers who strive to provide a seamless and technologically advanced desktop experience to our partners. You will be involved with developing, implementing and supporting solutions across multiple business processes, turning complex business problems into opportunities.?This role is 80% hands-on and 20% strategic.

Responsibilities
  • Manage tools and systems such as: SCCM (MEM), VDI, file servers, Remote Desktop session hosts and performance monitoring
  • Manage/support Windows Server environment
  • Create automation solutions utilizing modern scripting and programming languages (PowerShell, C#, etc)
  • Troubleshoot advanced operating systems and application issues and provide administration and support on Windows servers
  • Understand and identify business processes and opportunities for value creation within technology
  • Install, support and configure software applications
  • Collaborate with developers and clients to develop solutions using Windows Server technology
  • Provide tier 3 support for Help Desk team members
  • Administer server backup and recovery
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Partner with the Operations team to develop and support?new technologies
