Job Summary
Honest to Goodness Bistro has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR QUALIFIED, EXPERIENCED LINE COOKS AND PREP COOKS that have a passion for creating upscale, eclectic breakfast/lunch/dinner entrees. Primary responsibilities include preparing and seasoning specialty items. The ideal candidate must be extremely proficient in cooking eggs and/or extremely proficient in sauté or charbroil. We offer COMPETITIVE PAY based upon experience. Our cooks must exhibit an overall optimistic attitude, be highly motivated and demonstrate excellence when preparing and cooking foods. Job Responsibilities
Regulates temperature of ovens and griddles.
Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe to meals.
Bakes, roasts, pan frys and broils meats, vegetables, eggs and other foods.
Proficiency in sauté/charbroil is required.
Understanding of how to cook and flip eggs is a must.
Experience working in a scratch kitchen w/ natural foods is preferred.
Having the ability to create gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian entrees is desirable.
Observes and tests foods being cooked by smelling, and taking temperature.
Washes, peels, cuts, and shreds vegetables and fruits.Honesty, integrity, positive attitude accompanied by a true passion for developing high quality foods is a must.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Vocational training from a culinary school and/or some experience preferred.

Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner.
Attention to detail.
