Medical receptionist 1
We're hiring a receptionist at Emcura Medical, Immediate Care, Occupational Medicine and Integrative Medicine in Bloomfield twp., MI and are looking for people who are motivated and enthused in making people feel better. We have a highly rated and modern Immediate Care/ Urgent Care / Walk- in Clinic/ Occupational Medicine Clinic, and recently added an Integrative Medicine and Holistic Medicine Clinic and Apothecary as we expand our services. Our mission is to build a top- notch organization with wonderful people, thoughtful processes and a positive outlook on healthcare. We help our patients through illness and health by providing guidance, being their detectives and by helping navigate the intricacies of their well-being.
Our team is already tightly-knit and kind of quirky, and we're looking to maintain this special culture. We want detail-oriented people with friendly, flexible personalities to handle everything from talking about the practice and our offerings to our guests, to patient interactions on the phone or at the front desk. We'll train you for both the Immediate Care, Occupational Medicine and the Integrative Medicine offices.
Job description includes, but not limited to. . .
Handling phones and scheduling for all Physicians, Naturopaths and IV services. Most utilize online booking, but sometimes, a little help is required!
Confirming appointments and recalling clients for the Integrative Medicine Office and call backs for the Immediate Care
Filing and client record organization
Flow of office and upkeep of space (physical upkeep and by providing positive energy at all times!)
Billing, collecting payment, regular financial reconciliation for cash box for members of office.
Sales and inventory maintenance- For Apothecary and Quick Rx.

Requirements / Qualifications

Unadulterated enthusiasm for EMCURA MEDICAL, IMMEDIATE CARE, OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE and INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE
A diplomatic and exceptionally clear communication style
Critical thinking - you get nuance and can read between the lines
Tech savviness. You have the strong ability to navigate through various software programs simultaneously and utilize simple and core functions. EMR familiarity a plus!
Strong attention to detail and a firm grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
BA/BS degree preferred, not required.
We GLADY provide on the job health care experience, while you work, to pre-med, pre-PA, pre-NP, pre nursing students as part of their hourly requirements and actively teach as well (patient care hours)! We require a reasonable commitment!
