Livonia based lawn care cutting company seeks a qualified candidate to join our team. This position requires the ability to work as a team with the others towards the main goal of completing the daily schedule in a timely fashion, so a positive work attitude is a must. The candidate chosen main responsibilities will include but not limited to trimming, edging and blowing so attention to detail is a must. Ability to run mowers is a plus but please understand this position is mainly for the duties mentioned above but there may be times your called upon to do some cutting, hedge trimming, bark installation or various other duties involved with maintaining properties. The ability to communicate, comprehend and complete tasks with limited supervision in a timely manner is also necessary.
You will be working for an owner/operated company and be a part of a four man team responsible for an average of 25-30+ residential properties a day. Start time is 8 a.m. and normally off around 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday depending on the weather and the weeks work load. Some weekends may be required do to rain during the week as we don't cut in the rain. We break for lunch around one o'clock each day and normally stop somewhere. Our cutting schedule is not impossible or horrendous, but it does require a certain amount of time, effort and dedication to get it done properly and on time on a weekly basis. Everyone here holds their own weight so laziness is not an option. Reason I mention this is there is no where to hide here and it saves your time and mine. Pay is based on experience and your ability to prove yourself. I've learned over the years ones actions speak way louder then their words.
