Two lawyer plaintiff's firm specializing in personal injury and employment law seeking temporary full-time legal secretary and/or assistant to handle filing, e-filing, discovery, mail, correspondence with insurance companies and other duties that may arise from time to time.
Looking for someone to start at the beginning of June on a temporary basis to cover for current assistant going out on leave. Position will end in early August but there is the possibility of staying on part-time, if interested.
Preferred candidate should:
1) have previous legal assistant experience doing personal injury and/or employment law
2)be extremely detail-oriented and responsive
3) have exceptional organizational skills
4) have reliable transportation
5) be able to keep track of attorney calendars and tasks
6) be comfortable with using electronic filing and Google applications
Chosen candidate will be trained and paid for any training time. Should be available Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
