SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
We're a Troy, Michigan based online e-commerce retailer. Weve been around for 15+ years and are searching out a smart person with solid writing skills to assist us in further optimizing our website to improve its current rankings on Google and other search engines. The owner is skilled in SEO techniques and will provide training and guidance, but SEO assistant must be able to effectively work independently.
Must live within 20 miles of Troy, Michigan. Onsite work preferred, but remote working may potentially be allowed (for select candidates), but will need to meet in-person once or twice weekly to cover work efforts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Keyword usage research and some analysis
Keyword planning for each website page
Rewriting of category and product information to incorporate keywords
Data entry of SEO optimized data into the website
Other website marketing efforts
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Some familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Must be quick learner, self-motivated, reliable and be able to work independently
Must be a good with words and a good writer
Need to know how to use Excel (basic) and MS Word
Associates or College Degree (preferred). Good/Top college students will be considered.
