Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is looking for employees JUST LIKE YOU!
We are looking for Assembly Operators on 1st shift in Rochester Hills, MI. The hours are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays may be required, as needed. Pay is $10.00/hour.
This position will require upper body strength, standing for the entire shift, pushing, and pulling.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Produce conforming product. Notify Team Captain if non-conformance occurs.
Meet production goals and customer requirements for manufactured product
Follow work instructions and in-process visuals for manufactured product
Visually compare completed product to master sample
Maintain proper counts and report scrap to Team Leader
Assist in the inspection, adjustment and maintenance of tooling and equipment as necessary
Participate in ongoing goal of cost reductions
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Observe shop safety and conduct rules
Attend Safety Meetings and report any issues to Safety Manager or Safety Committee representative
Ensure the confidentiality of customer-contracted products and projects under development, and related product information
Present a favorable company image for CMA at all times
Understand and follow CMA TS 16949 Quality Management System
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years previous manufacturing assembly experience
Proven mechanical and technical skills, ability to operate a variety of hand, power and shop tools
Ability to work as a team
Effective communication and time management skills
Knowledge of ISO 9001-2008 and TS 16949 preferred
