FORGE INDUSTRIAL STAFFING
Shift hours: 6:00 am 4:30 pm, Monday thru Thursday.
Job: Operate powered industrial fork lift or overhead crane to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, steel coils, equipment, or materials and carry products/ scrap in and out of production areas.
Duties
Supply product to optimize production
Supply scrap and part containers to work cells
Assure accurate labeling & counts on stock
Lift, move, and restack totes, tubs, & hoppers
Handle, move, store, and stock parts
Follow safety policies and procedures
Responsible for the quality of work performed
Follow 5S & Workplace Organization Policies
Apparel: Jeans and T-shirt will get dirty.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent. Ability to operate an industrial lift truck and overhead crane.
Minimum two years experience driving an industrial lift truck.
Additional Skills:
Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and understand English. Reads and interprets work instructions, quality documents and forms, and shipping/receiving instructions.
Technical Skills: Ability to operate a powered industrial lift truck and overhead crane.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute averages, ratios, and percents.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. The employee needs the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to access a computer and use the Shop Floor Reporting Systems and on occasion, review spreadsheets or access the Intranet.
Equipment Skills: Ability to obtain powered industrial fork lifts and, overhead crane operating license. Capable of learning and using Bar code scanning equipment, label makers, RF devices, and weight scales.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
