QA Test Analyst
Metro Systems is seeking a QA Test Analyst to support a top financial client of ours. This client is a leader in the web and mobile spaces.
As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing successful QA processes in a mission critical vertical. You will work closely with the QA Manager, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and other QA personnel to drive accountability and quality across key initiatives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Development of the testing artifacts required for each assigned initiative.
• Oversee the assigned QA personnel on the project, in all levels of test execution
• Participate in test execution as necessary.
• Evaluate testing results and logged issues/defects.
• Communicate testing results, level of quality, and product readiness to QA Management and the project team.
• Participate in release planning and product roll-out.
• Identify gaps in the QA and testing processes, and work with QA Manager to address them.
• Provide guidance to less experienced QA personnel.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Overall passion and commitment to QA/testing.
• 8 or more years of experience, with increasing responsibilities.
• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other related field of study.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, concepts, and processes.
• Excellent testing skills.
• Strong SQL skills: ability to create complex queries.
• Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., qTest, JIRA, Quality Center).
• Strong knowledge of, and experience in, Agile methodology and related processes.
• Knowledge of FICO origination manager is desirable.
• Ability to define requirements/user stories is desirable.
• Software development experience is desirable.
