Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Trinity Health Senior Community (THSC) is seeking a Housing Manager for our senior housing community, Sanctuary at Marian Oakland, located in Farmington Hills , MI. THSC is nationally recognized and owns and operates 53 communities in 11 states. Direct day-to-day functions of the community in compliance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations.

Ensure the highest degree of quality care.

Responsible for achieving the financial & operational goals established for the community by having budget awareness, maintaining high occupancy and creating an environment with good resident and employee relations.

Interpret the community's policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary

Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the activities and marketing program of the community General responsibilities will include:

Represent the community at and participate in top level meetings as directed.

Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the governing board concerning the operation of the community.

Make routine inspections of the community to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.

Maintain an adequate liaison with families and residents. Maintain a good public relations/admissions program that serves the best interest of the community and community.

Candidates will have:

A minimum of three years experience in a senior living community is required.

Prefer a bachelor’s degree in related filed plus a minimum of two years residential property management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Candidates should have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with multiple levels in the organization.

Candidates should also possess the ability to work as part of a team, coach and train staff, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must possess the ability to seek out and develop new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.

Must demonstrate analytical ability and possess a comprehensive knowledge of basic data analysis and communication tools including, Excel, Access and Word.

Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Must possess and demonstrate personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Trinity Health.
