Nissan Automotive VIRTUAL GARAGE - ASSEMBLY TEAMThe Vehicle Assembly team is responsible for the final delivery of digital vehicles to our render partners. Responsibilities include:
Researching and understanding domestic and global market specificity per vehicle.
Compiling and organizing large global data sets in Autodesk Maya.
Using Excel to create configurations that translate to the Final Maya File.
Must be highly self-motivated, have strong detail and task focus, work well in a team dynamic under deadlines, as well as the desire to learn and work closely with engineering, perceived quality, and people with completely different skill sets. This part of the Virtual Garage process is equal parts technical, trouble shooting, and problem solving.Required Skills and Software Knowledge:
BFA preferred in 3D Modeling or Animation
Professional mastery of Autodesk Maya 2014 and data organization in Maya.
Set Driven Keys
Rigging
Hypershade
MEL scripting
Modeling
Data Organization in Outliner
Reference Management
Familiarity with RTT DeltaGen
Surface Quality
Tesselation Efficiency
NURBS to Poly translation
Strong Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Large worksheet management
Excel as development tool
