Candidate should be experienced in all aspects of public accounting and capable of handling business clients from start to finish. Work directly with clients and outside parties including governmental agencies to resolve issues as they arise. Responsibilities would include preparation of individual, partnership and corporate income tax returns, financial statements, payroll and related payroll tax compliance reports. Supervision and review of work performed by other staff performing similar responsibilities. Added responsibilities and career advancement are available to individuals demonstrating management and leadership characteristics.
Qualifications include CPA or CPA candidate, bachelors degree in accounting, minimum 2 years experience in public accounting including financial statement and income tax preparation, working knowledge of Thomson Reuters (Creative Solutions) software to include accounting CS, ultra-tax, file cabinet and fixed assets, QuickBooks, excel and word beneficial, ability to work extended hours during tax season, independently with little or no supervision and have strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, great communication skills, organized, resourceful, ambitious and motivated.
