Our client, an automotive Global Tier 2 supplier of formed plastics through extrusion and injection molding, is looking to fill various Molding Operator openings on 2nd shift! Hours are Monday-Thursday 2:45 PM - 12:45 AM. This opportunity is temporary, expecting to last approximately 3 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
Job Description:
Fab Fabbing parts to correct length to ensure proper mold
Molding Horizontal Open door pull parts out, shut the door, press will continue to run.
Molding Vertical Loading inserts to make parts. All manual: load, unload, and cycle.
Assembly Assembling parts to correct specifications as shown in instructions.
Extrusions line the parts will come to you. Inspect all parts for defects.
Tube Line Feed tubes through puller, cutting tubes free of one another and packing them.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Office consists of sitting and using a computer for long periods of time.
Shop consists of some workers experiencing high humidity and detectible odors.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for an 8-12 hour shift.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent desired
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to understand basic caliper and instruments of measurement
Ability to understand basic blueprint reading
Visual acuity and focus
Attention to detail
Ability to follow directions
Clean, organized, and punctual
