Wyman-Gordon, located in Brighton MI, provides Nickel-based Extruded Powder Alloy for Military and Commercial Turbine Applications. The Brighton MI facility offers Vacuum-Melt Atomizers, Lathes, and Equipment for Complete Billet Processing and Certification. This growing, profit center is part of a highly successful, multi-billion diversified manufacturer. Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC).
We are looking to the following immediate job openings:
1st & 2nd Shift Can Build Welders (TIG EXP REQUIRED);
1st & 2nd Shift Lathe Operators;
2nd Shift Powder Processing Technicians;
Requirements include, but not limited to:
Must be able to read and understand manufacturing instruction
Work independently and produce at an acceptable pace
Able to conduct multiple processes in sequence
Operate industrial Equipment safely and efficiently (Saws, Lathes, cranes and fork trucks)
Prior mechanical and technical experience a plus! Wyman-Gordon will train with the right attitude!
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read a ruler and understand shop math
MUST be willing to work off-shifts and weekends
US Citizenship or Perm Residency is required due to government military contracts.
Pay increase after 90 days, company uniforms and boot allowance!
