DescriptionHuman Resources Business PartnerRobert Half Management Resources is working on filling a Human Resources Business Partner position for a successful company in Grand Rapids, MI. This is similar to a HR Generalist position, however this HR position is specifically responsible for a region of retail stores. As the Human Resources Business Partner, you would function as an HR teams partner in supporting the assigned stores and you will be the first line of support in answering HR questions, concerns, required training, onboarding, employee relations and addressing employee issues for staff at these stores. This position would report to the Dir. Of Human Resources and does require traveling 2-2 ½ weeks out of the month. This is a requirement. (Do not expect to be gone 2 weeks straight but having to frequently visit the supported retail locations in Michigan and out of state will be required).Typical hours in office will be 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, but there could be some instances where you would need to work after hours as needed. Travel schedule is based on rotating through all of the retail stores, you would need to be able to prioritize, as well as understand where the travel need is. Whoever takes this Human Resources Business Partner role really needs to enjoy travel and being gone frequently.
