job summary:
Meijer is a supercenter chain throughout the Midwest with corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They are looking to add an Onsite QA Tester who will assist on testing and store validation projects in store and in lab for the Instore Fulfillment Team.
Required Skills - 3-53-5 years of relevant QA experience
1-2 years of QA lead experience
Experience working within eCommerce systems (Hybris/Aem/Azure ideal)
Experience with and understanding of complex APIs
Understanding of testing automation, scripting, regression testing and commonly used tools with the ability to script and utilize these tools in a complex environment

Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring each product release meets defined quality standards
Manage a local team for the development and execution of test cases
Manage an onshore and offshore team for the development and execution of test cases
Create test plans and test cases from feature descriptions by Product Management and discussion with Developers
Drive testing using automation, scripting and regression testing
Drive the process, principals and execution of the test process through continuous process improvement
Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, report and track defects, verify fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues
Ability and aptitude to be a thought leader and grow the practice to ensure quality software releases in a retail environment
Ability, aptitude, and drive to ensure quality is consistently met for business stakeholders
Reporting and metrics to senior leadership
Ability to drive process and continuous improvement of the practice
