We are in need of one weekday Dishwasher to staff our afternoon/evening shift. The ideal candidate believes in showing up on time for work, providing other employees with assistance in the kitchen as needed and following all sanitary and health-related protocols. We are a nice team and are looking for a fun and nice team member to join us. Were reasonably paced restaurant and we are willing to consider advancement opportunities for the right candidate. If youve ever dreamed of working as a Prep Cook or Cook, this position might provide you with a great start. Were offering a consistent schedule and excellent pay for a dedicated employee. Tuesday-Friday 4pm-Close (between 10:30-11:30pm) If you fit the description, you can start today.
Dishwasher Responsibilities
-Operate the industrial dishwasher
-Return clean kitchen items, dishes and glassware to appropriate locations
-Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
-Empty and clean all trash receptacles
-Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
-Clean dish storage
-Follow sanitation policies at all times
-Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
-Perform opening, closing and side work
-Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
-Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party
Dishwasher qualifications and skills
-No experience required (were willing to train)
-High school diploma or GED preferred
-Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
-Ability to operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 40 lbs both up and down stairs
-Willingness to work in warm, humid environment and on your feet for 8-hour shifts
