Summary:

We are looking for fast paced workers, who are willing to help our growing business. This position requires standing and walking for 85% of the day in year-round outdoor conditions.

Each day is filled with a variety of items that need to be photographed, and given accurate written descriptions that need to be added to our online auction system.

This position also requires proficiency with general technology including iPads, and website navigation. This position also requires great customer service, greeting customers and assisting them in filling out contracts to sell their items/assets through our online auction system.

This position is first shift. Mondays- 9-5pm, Tuesdays- 9am-7pm, Wednesday- 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-6pm and Friday 8am-4pm this position also requires Saturday work from 8am- 3pm. One day off during the week will be given. Hours range from 40-45 a week. We are a never work on Sunday company.

Qualifications & Requirements

Excellent customer service skills

Forklift driving experience

Valid drivers license

High school Diploma

3-5 years warehouse experience

Ability to communicate and negotiate with customers

Ability to navigate websites, iPads, and other forms of technology

Ability to drive and operate machinery including fork lift

Able to lift 30-50lbs

Ability to stand for long period of times in all types of weather

Team player

Ability to take quality photos, write accurate descriptions, and measure a variety of items efficiently

Mathematic proficiency

Ability to take direction well.

Ability to work alone on tasks, as well as work well with a team environment

Essential Job Functions

Knowing the essentials of how online bidding works and functionality of the auction site.

Drive an industrial forklift, abiding by all safety regulations

Assist customers who plan on being consignors, by unloading vehicles, semi trucks, or driving vehicle to a specific warehouse location. To photograph and write descriptions of each item/ lot of items going up for auction.

Provide customers with excellent customer service

Answer variety of item questions

Work in all outdoor elements, taking pictures and writing descriptions

Have a wide variety of knowledge of large variety of items

Accurately describe all items that go up for auction. By researching pieces, providing accurate measurements and providing all necessary details for a customer to bid on an item

Typical Duties

Answer all questions regarding consignment including rates, times and cost

Ensure customers are being helped in a timely fashion

Making safe choices while working, and preventing injury on self or others

Keeping facility clean and clear of debris

Complete all contracts assigned within days work

Weekly consignor double check to ensure that all items are correct

Other duties as requested by management
