Allen-Hope & Associates is one of the largest Process Serving companies in Michigan. Our clients include many of the state's most notable law firms, financial institutions, and governmental agencies. Currently, we are expanding our process server base to include all of Lower Michigan.
Experience is not necessary, as we will travel to train you in your area!
The primary objective of a process server is to serve legal documents issued by the Courts. This includes Subpoenas, Summons & Complaints, Small Claims, Court Orders and any other documents issued by Circuit, District, or Probate Courts. This job is NOT Evictions, Seizures, Executions, Foreclosures, etc.
A reliable and fuel efficient vehicle, a smart device, and knowledge of computers are a must. You will be required to print all of your cases, but we reimburse for paper & ink!
The hours are very flexible. This career would be great for those that are interested in the legal field and for those who would enjoy a more flexible schedule.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Clean Appearance with a Professional and Polite Demeanor
Clean Driving History with Valid Drivers License and Insurance
Ability to work Mornings, Evenings, Weekends
Must be 18+ Years of Age
Ability to Work Independently w/Minimal Supervision
Ability to Work w/Sensitive Information & Maintain Confidentiality
Have Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Highly Organized & Dependable
