About us:
Platinum Powersports LLC sells and services New Yamahas and pre-owned motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, Snowmobiles and is also MICHIGANs NEWEST Yamaha dealer located in Rockford Michigan which is 15 minutes north of Grand Rapids. Our business was founded by riders that wanted to offer a better service for customers in the West Michigan area. We believe the customer is the priority and we do whatever it takes to keep them riding and happy. Our specialty is selling pre-owned motorcycles that dont compare to the competition. We service, inspect, and meticulously detail each bike. If it needs anything we take care of it.
The Position:
This person will handle daily parts counter sales of parts and accessories, assist with maintaining inventory levels on retail shelves and back room, receiving and shipping of daily parts orders. This positon will also assist with growth of different channels such as on our website shopping and through our Ebay store. Since this is a split position with back room and front counter position this person would need good communication and be highly organized. We run a lean staff so the candidate will need to be willing to help out wherever needed while staying focused on making sure orders are handled properly so customers and service department is taken care of. We strive for top notch service and need someone that aspires to offer that same experience both in the store, on the phone and through our online shopping channels. Duties:
Handling day to day customer walk ins and selling parts and accessories.
Consulting with customers in regards to parts on the phone, online and in person.
Daily shipping and receiving of parts from daily orders.
Calling Customers and notifying them status of their parts.
Assist Service Manager and Technicians by pulling parts for jobs.
Maintain and organizing parts back room so all things have a place.
Maintain a clean and well merchandised PG&A environment.
Assist with filling out work orders for service on occasion.
Team player willing to assist other departments as needed.
Requirements:
Organized, Reliable
Ability to deal with customers in person and on the phone.
High attention to detail
Self Starter willing to go the extra step to be sure customers and their parts and on time and correct.
Computer proficient in basic functions of word, excel.
Powersports enthusiast with understanding of parts and accessory products.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Preferred:
Automotive or Powersports parts room experience.
Shipping receiving experience
Advanced Ebay store selling
E-commerce shopping cart experience
Merchandising experience
Compensation/Benefits:
Hourly plus commission on parts sales. (hourly based on experience)
Casual work environment.
Full time: Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri, Sat. (Closed Wednesday and Sunday).
