Growing Flooring Company is looking to fill a full time Warehouse Assistant position.
The Warehouse Assistant performs general storage and material handling duties related to the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading vehicles and trucks, handling of materials within warehouse and to/ from loading area, verifying materials shipped against pick list, maintaining warehouse and showroom cleanliness, maintaining displays and sample placement, and maintaining miscellaneous supply levels.
Warehouse Assistant is responsible for shipping, receiving, manufacturer returns, material pick up from local freight terminals and other duties as assigned. Our store hours are 9-8 Monday through Thursday, Friday -Saturday 9-5, and we're closed on Sunday.
The successful candidate for this position must have experience, good communication skills, math skills, and have attention to detail. Must be handy with basic carpenter tools to be able to build displays and assist with merchandising. Candidate must have a valid driver's license, with a good driving record, ability to lift 50-80lb, ability to drive a lift truck, be able to use current computer programs.
