DescriptionAccounting ClerkAccountemps is looking for an Accounting Clerk to work in the Financial Services industry whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers and data entry. This Accounting Clerk will also be assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This is a short-term temporary-to-full-time position based in the Holland, Michigan area. Assist Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
Assemble documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
Put together statements and reports that require utilization of an assortment of sources
Publish financial information to journals and ledgers
General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Requirements
Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Solid understanding of QuickBooks
Journal entries experience preferred
Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
