DescriptionAccounts Payable ClerkA healthcare industry leader service center in the Holland, MI area is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is offered through Accountemps. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch, code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Perform special projects as assigned
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Implement full-cycle A/P
Provide support to internal business partners
Requirements
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Adeptness in auditing
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
