DescriptionAssistant ControllerRobert Half Management Resources is seeking an Assistant Controller for a dynamic company in the Holland, Michigan area. The Assistant Controller will assist in steering company financial decisions, provide high level accounting expertise, and develop strategic plans based on the company?s financial performance. An effective Assistant Controller has good knowledge of accounting principles. The goal is to contribute to keep the accounting and financial processes of the company up to standard and ensure accurate financial reporting and control. Bachelor?s degree in accounting, business administration, or finance
CPA preferred
Advanced Degree MBA, Masters of Accounting, etc. a plus
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and industry standard accounting software, including Crystal Reports and Hyperion
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks
