Hope College Dining Services is looking for an enthusiastic individual to lead a dynamic group of talented individuals who oversee and assist with food procurement, maintenance, janitorial services, stocking, inventory, safety, & sanitation. OverviewUtility staff members work to ensure the facility is clean, sanitary, safe and suitable for food preparation and the customer experience. Utility staff help ensure equipment, tables, chairs, floors, trash bins, loading areas, and food storage areas are clean, in good working condition, and are regularly attended to.Education – Skills - Expectations
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Must possess a positive, can-do attitude, be detail-oriented, and possess a well-rounded knowledge of the food service industry. Must maintain professionalism at all times, and work with others in a cooperative manner, even while working under pressure. Willing to engage actively in the physical work of a high-quality hospitality service operation. As a representative of Creative Dining Services, must function in accordance with our corporate Mission, Vision, and Core Values statements.
