Position Summary:

The Line Cook & Dishwasher assists the other kitchen staff, cooks & prepares food, and ensures all dishes are clean and accessible. A line cook & dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a sanitary kitchen work area and stocking kitchen items.

Hours: Monday-Saturday (No Sundays); starting time between 4pm-6pm & out by 9:45pm-10:15pm.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability to always act with integrity and honesty to promote the culture, values, and mission of Tripelroot

Ability to work with others as a team

Physically capable of lifting and moving at least 50 pounds

Flexible in terms of work schedule and hours; evening & weekend availability

Job Tasks:

Appropriately present and ensure quality of dishes.

Deliver food to customers, and ensure they have the necessary napkins and silverware in addition to anything they may ask for.

If a customer requests a beverage, properly communicate with a server or bartender to ensure the customer’s need is met.

Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils in dishwasher or 3-compartment-sink.

Inspect all dishes to ensure that they are clean and sanitary.

Prepare food as directed.

Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels in sinks and dishwashers.

Ensure food storage and kitchen equipment is organized.

Assist servers and bartenders with clearing tables as needed.
