Creative Dining Services and Geneva Camp & Retreat Center Dining Services is currently looking for an hourly full-time Sous Chef. The Sous Chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation. This includes supervision of staff and other duties at this beautiful facility located on Lake Michigan in Holland, MI. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, one to three years of cooking experience, and supervisory experience preferred.

Core Responsibilities of the Sous Chef:

- Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service.

- Read and understand Guest and Production Sheets for menus and time of functions.

- Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production.

- Utilize safe food handling techniques at all times.

- As work shift requires, properly open and/or close the kitchen.

- Communicate needs and concerns regarding food production and kitchen operation to Kitchen Manager appropriately, and in a timely manner.
