The PMO Analyst (mid-level) is responsible for many of the operational duties of the IT Project Management Office.
PMO activities include reporting, reviewing Gate checks, interfacing with Project Managers, delivery portfolio leads, non-functional groups, and working with the rest of the PMO team to ensure all projects are on track and that process is followed.
The candidate's primary responsibility will be to help Project Managers understand and navigate the IT PMO processes by answering questions, keeping documentation and websites up-to-date, facilitating training sessions and sending out communications.
The candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and approving artifacts such as Charters, gate checks and change requests.
In addition to the operational duties, this role must be able to identify process improvement opportunities, and subsequently work on those that have been approved - working with teams outside the PMO to ensure results are achieved.
This position will report to the IT PMO and will not be managing projects.
